8.7.15 - VNC Client 2.01 by Robert Kedoin

This is a network tool used to access other computers from the OS X desktop.

Features: Remembers passwords, variable color depth, multiple encodings (CopyRect, RRE, CoRRE, Hextile), shared desktop, local cursor, middle and right mouse button emulation.

This is a terriffic VNC client. I've been using it since almost the first day I got my Mini, and it has never given me any trouble. It is fast, reliable and easy to use.

There are very few bugs; one tiny one I've noticed is that selections (on a Win98 PC) tend to not quite update correctly on the Mac client screen — although they work just fine and enough of the selection is shown to let you know what you've done. A very minor glitch in an otherwise very slick VNC client. The author mentions that there are some issues with window dragging under Tiger; they definitely aren't apparent under Panther, which is the OS my Mini runs.

VNC Client is free.
Five out of five stars.
